Master Program in Biology

The Master’s in Biology program at FMIPA USK has been a key player in the field since 2014, making significant contributions to the development of biological sciences, particularly in research and conservation. Since the program’s launch, our alumni have achieved remarkable success, building careers in both the public and private sectors.

Mission

1. Continuous Competency Development Mission, ensure continuous competency development in the field of Biology through formal and non-formal education, training, and practical experience.

2. Innovation and Research Mission, Conducting sustainable and innovative research in Biology to develop new solutions and advance our understanding of relevant scientific and social issues. 

3. Entrepreneurship and Business Development Mission, Building entrepreneurial and business development skills to transform knowledge and discoveries in the field of Biology into products and services that can benefit society and generate profits.

4. Collaboration and Networking Mission, Building a strong network with professionals, researchers, business people, and other stakeholders in the field of Biology at the local, national, and international levels. 

CURRICULUM

The courses that must be completed by each USK Biology Masters student are 54 credits consisting of 43 courses (41 theory courses and 2 practical courses). The following is the distribution of courses in each semester:
