Dr. Essy Harnelly, S.Si., M.Si. is a faculty member at the Department of Biology, Universitas Syiah Kuala. She earned her Ph.D. in molecular biology from Göttingen University. Her research focuses on DNA barcoding and molecular identification for biodiversity and natural product authentication. She has led national research projects and published in scientific journals.
