Cut Yulvizar is an associate professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala. She earned her M.Sc. in Biology from Göttingen University, Germany. Her research focuses on microbiology, aquaculture biotechnology, and environmental biology, especially probiotics and lactic acid bacteria. She has published widely and registered a proprietary right titled R_CA_bacteriosin.
