Cut Nanda Defira is a senior lecturer at the Department of Biology, Universitas Syiah Kuala. She earned her M.Sc. in Biology from IPB University and her B.Sc. from Universitas Syiah Kuala. Her research focuses on ichthyology, emphasizing fish ecology, biology, and conservation in coastal and freshwater ecosystems. She has published widely and supervised many student projects.
